We look at some of the themes Isaiah prophesied about the coming Saviour from 700 year before Jesus was born. Today we look at Isaiah 52:13-53:3 and Isaiah's prophecy that defied the expectations of the people waiting for their rescuer. In fact, they were so caught up with their expectations that when Jesus arrived they missed him. Today Richard asks if our expectations can be so specific and rigid that we might miss what God is wanting to do in our lives.

We look at some of the themes Isaiah prophesied about the coming Saviour from 700 year before Jesus was born. Today we look at Isaiah 11:1-9 and see the Messiah described as the all powerful bringer of peace and justice. In a slightly shorter service Dave looks at how our propensity to worry is incompatible with such a Messiah... but to stop worrying is easier said than done! (Otherwise known as - "How can we fill our minds with roller-coasters instead of monkeys?")
